Would you like to know the flood zone for the property you are thinking about purchasing?
Of course!!!
Where do you find that information?
If you are thinking about purchasing a property in Horry County, SC (North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, parts of Garden City Beach and Murrells Inlet, Socastee, Conway, Aynor, Galivants Ferry, Green Sea, Nichols, Loris, Longs), you can find some information through the Horry County government website!
Horry County has a great tool called “Map Your Move” on their website.
The Map Your Move tool provides some great information about specific properties including…
*FEMA flood zone
*Evacuation zone
*Nearby fire & police stations
*Nearby libraries and parks
*School districts
The information provided on the Map Your Move tool is ONLY for services provided by Horry County. So, if you are looking in a city and there is a city library nearby, that library will not show on the Map Your Move tool.
How do you find this great tool?
Add a comment below and I will be happy to send you information on how to access this tool. I also have a longer video on my page about using the Map Your Move application.
