Celebrating the 4th of July in Murrells Inlet is pretty special. There are so many fantastic things to do in Murrells Inlet for the 4th of July!!

A few pro tips from someone living in Murrells Inlet:

01. The beaches are PACKED on July 4th. Get to your favorite spot early!!

02. Salute from the Shore will be at Murrells Inlet at 1:04 and 1:15 (times can change). The military flyover crosses the full coast of South Carolina starting at Cherry Grove. You can see the flyovers from any beach.

03. The 4th of July parade in Murrells Inlet is a little different than most towns. It’s a boat parade on the water!! The parade starts at the Garden City Point and floats through the inlet at the Marshwalk. The 42nd annual boat parade starts at 2:00 PM.

You can buy t-shirts to celebrate the boat parade from several local businesses.

04. End the 4th with fireworks at the Marshwalk. Fireworks start at 10:00 PM.

05. We want to keep our beautiful area clean and keep debris from getting in the inlet. Join Murrells Inlet 2020 for the July 5th clean-up from 9:00 AM-11:00AM. Meet at the Murrells Inlet 2020 office. All supplies will be provided. Make sure to wear comfy shoes and sunscreen.
